1. You can easily juggle a jumbo Turning Point iced coffee, a double stroller, and a dog leash.
2. Thanks to those NYC backdrops you get crazy-good likes on Instagram.
3. You can bounce back from late, drink-filled nights at Madison’s to big, early(ish) brunch mornings at Amanda’s.
4. You’ve mastered the art of high-class dining, without stepping one foot outside the door. (Lookin’ at you, Mr. Seamless.)
5. You eat “ice cream” without the calories, thanks to the pure genius that is the low-cal, frozen Amanda’s Bananas alternative.
6. You can teleport from uptown Hoboken to Midtown Manhattan — in 3 minutes or fewer — on the NY Waterway.
7. You make a mean Bloody, with the one and only Hoboken Mary.
8. You stay flexible with sunrise yoga, even after late nights at Midtown Philly.
9. You look fabulous every day of the week, thanks to those stylish friends at Dear Hannah, aaRaa and Oran.
10. You can park a full-size car in a clown-car spot — every day, on every street.
11. You’ve learned to switch your heritage overnight, becoming 100 percent Irish as the sun rises every March 17…
12. …And then German six months later as Pilsener Haus celebrates its month-long Oktoberfest.
13. You have an enviable ability to dodge the goose-poop landmines that fill every park.
14. You make blizzards an absolute blast, with snow boots, sleds, and those Stevens campus hills.
15. You can eat a pint of Pickle Licious pickles in less than one day — and still have room for dinner.
16. You breathe the same air as Batman — not the Christian Bale kind — but the Hoboken Batman, who rides up and down Washington Street on his Bat Bike
17. You have weekend limo rides at your disposal, as long as you’re going to and from Willie McBrides.
18. You rock a rad pair of Warbys and recognize the value of a good, sculpted mustache — Hoboken is the Hipster Capital of America, after all.
19. You know how to stay strong through natural disasters like Sandy because for Hoboken residents, the city is more than just a less expensive NYC alternative — it’s a one-of-a-kind, supportive, community-centric home.
I love playing visual novels, so I like to think of time control as if you're living in a visual novel. If you have regrets, just load any saved file so that your present mind can enter your past body. Do this as many times as you want until you're happy. You'd also easily win the lottery, so you're basically set for life. Not having financial stress is all I want from this superpower lol
Time control is difficult to even understand. Whatever happens. happens. This doesn't mean that you can't freeze time to catch up on homework, or finish a book before you have to go to school. Just that when you change something. it will always be changed. I told you that it's hard to explain. I would love this power though. It would mean I could read anything I wanted whenever I wanted to.
I would love to have time control power , it would be so cool , I could go back to
granger hollow and just be a little kid , I would have Lizzy , whiskers to keep me company and I would even have Rosie as well and I would have my old room back !
I've been thinking about this power for a LONG TIME!
It is just OP to other powers.
World w/ super heroes and super villains:
You can fight like Neo from Matrix. (No time to explain)
World w/ other super powers:
No one can outmatch you and you can do almost anything they can do.
World w/ normal people:
I'm gonna go through almost all of the good things. You can Freeze time and do whatever you want, you pervert. (This should keep you occupied for a couple of months. ) You can, and you will always be right, win arguments, know answer to every question, always hit the ball, always dodge attacks of any sorts, and look like a smart and badass at the Same time! (Now that's cool. You do all this with slow-mo and rewind abilities. )
You can go to your past and be a better person. You can work out, study, do homework, sleep and stay in your room for decades, and never lose time!
Now for the more arguable abilities: you can survive a deadly fall by slowing . more
I would love to this awesome power along with time travel . I would love to disappear and play tricks and pranks on anyone who is being mean to my friends , I would love to be invisible and tickle my friends at any time also if I was invisible I would have fun and trip anyone maybe even take their homework and get them in trouble . It would be so awesome to be invisible.
It would be so nice to just disappear. I mean I know people think of this as a good power in combat or for other reasons but sometimes it would be nice to just disappear.
My other votes are shapeshift, telekenesis, teleportation, healing ability, control major elements, super intelligence, ability to absord other powers, and mind control. my comments is the one that keeps saying: Poof! Check them out.
For this, I really want it because you can then sneak and everything.
Most underrated power ever. Invisibility is a stunning power that is (in movies or books) counter by telekinesis, telepathy etc. and made weaker than it should be e.g. lorien legacies, fantastic four etc. but in truth you are invisible and CAN NOT BE SEEN. You could pickpocket someone, lean over someone's shoulder at an ATM and then steal their card, make themselves and a gun invisible then shoot the enemy, turn (if the power extends to it) a car invisible, make people think of ghosts in the house by moving things around and so on. In addition, invisibility has many many applications as mentioned above whereas with many powers they only have one purpose and are not practical in everyday with the powers most likely to be hard to hide.
I like this power. It has lots of abilities. Also, the guy who said don't choose telekinesis here's my response. How exactly would you rip the fabric of reality apart? You can't! Reality isn't something you can break it's reality! How weak do you think it is! If you told a medieval dude that there were jet planes, submarines, spaceships, nukes, the electricity they would be like "That's lunacy! You are now going to be executed for witchcraft!" We've done some crazy stuff and earth still is here so moving objects with your mind isn't super crazy when you compare traveling to other-worldly objects in a pressurized container as a person in the middle ages. Also the second point. Who is stupid enough to hold a building over their fricking head?! Also, what do you think they're thinking," oH tHis BuiLdINg iS ovEr mY HeAd sO wHaT IF I DrOpPed iT?" Geez, bro think. Teleknises doesn't just fail at random it's a superpower technically your body could fail at any moment from a heart attack so . more
Assuming the use of this ability doesn't negatively impact your physical and mental state through the stress of exerting your powers, telekenesis is a power with infinite possibilities. The ability to control any element, influence any force or movement, and manipulate any physical action is far better than any other power. Imagine being able to cure cancer by destroying cancerous cells in a person's body, or influencing a sports match from miles away while watching it on television. Better yet, why not use the ability to change your own physique? Telekenesis implies the ability to control kinetic energy, which would allow you to work out muscles and direct nutrients to replenish them without ever having to go to a gym. You could even theorectically control and/or defy gravity, using this ability to fly or give yourself super strength. The potential here is limitless.
Uh. DON'T CHOOSE TELEKENESIS. Here's why.
1. You could rip the fabric of reality apart and destroy everything that ever existed if done wrong.
2. It has a VERY high chance of failing. Example: You try and pick up a building with your mind, but then it falls on you and kills you.
3. Telekinesis is too unbalanced. Flying is probably the best solution. Now, many of these superpowers could break the fabric of reality. Like, super speed? Nope. If you ran that fast, your body would be on fire. Super Strength? No. Every time you tried to open a door, you would break it. Teleportation? HELL NO. That would break the fabric of reality. Time control? It would break the fabric of reality again.
Telekinesis can provide you with any other super power there is, so it can be considered as omnipotence. You can heal wounds just by moving the cells around, levitate yourself and fly wherever you want. This may be a stretch, but you could move things fast enough to travel through time via time dilation. Short on cash, summon money from thin air by manipulating particles. If you wanted, you can live forever by repairing your own damaged tissue and killing dangerous microorganisms. No more hard labor, coach potatoes can do everything they need with their mind. Telekinesis gives you everything you could ever ask for.
Speed is incredible as it not only raises your speed but allows you to see think act and respond faster. Your able to vibrate your self so that you can faze through objects but also punch people's insides to stop them in their tracks crippling them with pain. Not to mention you can rip out someone's heart without any outside damage. You can access lightning, and in the flash comics he is able to run around so fast that it was stated if he were to run his fastest he could pick a planet and destroy it. He can create after images. You can fight someone learn all the punches and actions that they will do run back I'm time and fight the same fight to win. From running so fast your punches become extremely powerful. There's so much more to it as well this is a short breakdown
This is ironic that I voted. I just need to comment. I know this isn't science but a superpower but it needs to be scientifically valid. If you go at super-speed, the friction of the air molecules would burn you up like a human meteor. Also, if you survived the blow, the inertia would knock you unconscious or push your bones out as if you ran into a wall. Also, if you went the speed of light you would be zero-length, heavier than the universe and time would stop.
Super speed is arguably one of the most OP superpowers ever. You could run around the world in less than a second, cause sonic booms with ease, punch your opponent with a fist containing more mass than our entire solar system. Everything in your body is faster: your brain, your immune system, etc. You can vibrate your molecules to phase through a bullet just as it touches you. You would also perceive everything around you as if time were frozen. Super speed is nearly impossible to beat unless you have omnipotence.
It's the best and if your that fast, like the flash an opponent can be fighting you and in might not even be the real you! you could also be moving so fast you could avoid every attack that your enemy is using against you, and if everything is extremely slow when he's using the his speed he can plan things that would take months in less than a minute! even more, he doesn't have to counter or block things if the enemy is attacking him, he can just faze though it like its just going through him, but not hurting him! one more thing, would it be cool to be at two places at once? this is just a few strategies that's possible to use so imagine what else you can do with super speed.
This should be number one. people only ever think of transportation when it comes to teleportation but in combat you could do so many things teleport behind them, teleport them into the sky, teleport a building or a large object on top of them, grab a knife and stab them from behind, teleport them into a volcano or the sky this power is limitless
Teleportation is the best of them all, think about it, those wars you watch on T.V., you can stop them if you could defeat a whole army of the bad guys alone. You can go there to the battlefields and kill all the bad guys, all you have to do is to drop them and their weapons one by one from a high point or take them to a deep point of the sea or drop them in a forgotten desert, you can finish a whole army by yourself without any scratch and without any single destruction.
And beside the ability of defeating any army alone you will have the power to spend time anywhere you want on the planet.
Teleportation is one of the greatest powers ever, and here is why: The ability to teleport anywhere in the wi else it in the universe, so long as you displace solids, liquids, and gasses, you would be unstoppable. Say you are in a universe where other people have super powers, if you fight against any one with a ability listed above, time control for instance, so what if they can freeze time? Teleport once behind them and teleport with your hand sticking out into their head, displacing the matter, or in other words blowing their head apart. This Will work against any other power as well.
Oh, no! Forgot the time to go to school! Teleport! Poof! You’re there.
You can almost go anywhere with this power! Poof! You’re on a mountain. Poof! You’re in a garden. Poof! You’re in the desert.
I absolutely love this power. Running on walls, flattening people, make yourself levitate, throw planets out of orbit, attract and repel objects, and call astroids down onto the earth. What's there not to like? It's easily a top ten power. Unfortunately, even I, I crazy fan about this admit it isn't the best. Because there is a power that outmatches it. Elemental control. This power gives people control over major elements including fire, water, earth, air, lightning, metal, nature, light, darkness, and GRAVITY. Gravity is an irreplaceable element in nature making it a major element. Thus if you have gravity and 9 other elemental powers than you would techincally be more powerful. That's the only reason elements is better though.
Absolute control over gravity is easily the greatest power. Time control has too large of a margin for error that could lead to unforeseen consequence at a catastrophic level. Telekinesis is probably the closest on this list in terms of raw potential and usability to gravitational control, but it does have some drawbacks. At its core, gravity manipulation would give the user all abilities associated with telekinesis. Simply by changing an object, organism, or particle's center of gravitational pull (I.E. the direction it reacts to as "down") and the amount of gravitational pull on the target, the user can cause the target to move through space at incredible speeds, slow it down, make it weightless, implode, or any number of other possibilities, similar to telekinesis. However, unlike telekinesis, gravitational manipulation would not require constant concentration. Once a direction and level of force was applied, the user can step back and let physics do the rest. This frees up the . more
Think about it planets are controlled by gravitational forces. You could literally send planets out of orbit, or make them collide with other planets. You could also add some meteors to the Earths gravitational field and basically summon meteors to rain down on Earth. Everything has a gravitational force meaning you could basically crush, lift, or pull anyone or anything.
This power lets you make bullets or lasers hit the ground before they hit you. It also means you could do ninja parkour, fly, have telekinesis, be super strong (by reducing weight of target), and above all: let other people run up walls and on ceilings! You would be crazy popular. As for God powers, who wants to be that powerful? You'd get bored very quickly!
Personally if I were to have omnipotence, I wouldn't know what to do with it. You could create new dimensions, bring people back from the dead, know the future. The options are limitless. For those who think time control is number 1, people with omnipotence would already know what you were going to do. They would only allow you to do it because they wanted to humiliate or confuse you. People with omnipotence wouldn't have a reality, time, or certain power because they control it all. They are basically like Lucy at 100% brain control, except they can create whatever they want without anything. Where as she could only manipulate matter you create more from nothing.
It beats everything, but I would become very bored as soon as I become omnipotent. Because what is one second to normal people could be infinite time and experiences for me, I would know everything, have done everything, could have been every atom in existence etc, in essence I would not be human anymore. And honestly I don't know what to think of it, of course I would have the option to not use this power to its full potential, but as I said earlier I could live for billions of years doing everything I could to remain human, but eventually I would have to become something more, and all of this could happen in a split second, the very moment I get this power. Unless there were other beings with this power, then it would be more interesting I suppose, but is it even possible? Our wills would crash and technically we wouldn't be omnipotent anymore, it would be something like nigh omnipotence which is more interesting.
The definition of omnipotence is having unlimited power, able to do anything. If you have omnipotence your only limit is your imagination. For instance say your going up against a time travel you can erase them from existence just by thinking of it. If you wield the power of omnipotence you are bigger than infinity. This is the power above all which is why only one person in each comic book who can have this power is the god/creator of that comic book series. For Instance, The only person in Marvel who has this power is the one above all who is the god of the Marvel Universe. In fact, The Above All is able to fight every single comic book character in Marvel all at once and win.
Also, you can easily take anyone's superpowers away and watch the fear in their eyes as they realize they were stripped of their powers. Your existence alone defies logic, time, space and destiny so time users can't do anything to you. Telekinesis users can manipulate anything but they can't manipulate you and there's a difference between manipulation and absolute control. Sometimes you manipulate things and they don't go in your favor whilst having absolute control equals no wrongs or imperfections because you had absolute control over the situation. Space, Time, Destiny, Fate, Death, Life, and Reality, the things that every human is bound to unconditionally, rests in the palms of your hands.
I am surprised at how high this power is. Number 9? And shapeshifting is lower than this? Are you kidding. You can fly and scout in war but there is something called anti-aircraft guns by the way. Also, skyscrapers are in every developed city here's a few Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Rome, Paris, Chicago, and Berlin. Also, someone mentioned that you can shoot people. That's now measuring the power of a gun not flying. A person with a jetpack can do that! Also, you can punch while flying but you need to fly down in to do that. Now flying at the speed of air 800 mph is no joke but an f-22 can go faster than that. Flying is fun but it lacks strength and versatility. You can fly and punch but that's about it. Then you get shot by anti-aircraft guns and you're dead. Not saying flying is trash because I really like it but it lacks versatility and definitely isn't a top ten power.
I would love to have this awesome power and I would love to fly like a bird and go many places like the beach, granger hollow , New York and visit my cousins and my uncle rick and even California and visit my cousin Wendy .
Flying is a bit like teleporting but then again sometimes you just want to enjoy the view or sometimes u just want to leave stress behind. Also it would be fun.
GET THIS TO #1. Now while it may be slower then teleporting, you can see everything! Like, in a war, YOU WOULD BE THE PERFECT SCOUT. And, you could just shoot the enemy soldiers from the sky without them even knowing! FLYING FOR DA WIN. Plus, if you teleported quick enough, you could break the fabric of reality and rip all the universes in half. But if you could fly, the only problem would be skyscrapers, (which, to be honest, are pretty rare) So flying is better then teleporting!
Honestly, if you had complete knowledge of matter and control of this, you would be inconceivably powerful. You can alter your own cells, making you immune to anything. You can also stop your own aging, by making your cells healthier. You could cure cancer, by just getting rid of bad cells. More cell possibilities, but moving on.
If you could also change the properties of matter, you could change how they function. For example, one complicated thing would be mind control or changing memories. It would be insanely complex, but if you understood neurons you could alter the way they are functioning, thus manipulate someones mind or memories. If you could make your body into something made of light, while keeping it functional (however that'd work) maybe you could move at the speed of light? I don't know about that one, but you could probably alter the speed of your cells either way.
Teleport by moving your body one cell at a time (which would be difficult to do properly or . more
This power is kinda OP. You can manipulate objects or your body to make them harmless, thus allowing you to become invincible. And also, you can change the space around your opponents into lava, and burning them in the process. You can even make yourself invisible. You can alter the chemical makeup of anything. If you were being attacked by a force such as telekinesis, morph your body into water and it won't be harmed. If someone tried to poison you, you can change make up of your body to be immune. The possibilities are endless.
If you have this power in the world and quite possibly do universe is made up of matter you could do anything you could possibly want like for example you could turn gold into food in a penny into $1000 in cash so basically with manipulation Your own DNA to give you even more super powers
This power literally give you the power to dude every want to the environment and gives you the ability to even control your own DNA to give you extra powers so basically this power is basically the powerful god
This is a decent power. Combat wise it's lacking in strength but has plenty of practical uses. However the best power? Not even close. Now one person said that it's senseless to apply science to superheroes and that isn't true. Time control (Ugghhh am I really about to explain this?) works because at that moment you stop time on them let's say their inhaling. Then they're stopped at that moment! At that moment they weren't suffocating so when time stops on them they don't suffocate! At that moment their molecules were in a certain position at a certain temperature and then when time stops on them it's not like the molecules are going to freeze because at that moment they weren't freezing! I guess for some people it really is senseless to apply science to superheroes. Also, who would want to stop time? ME! There's a lot of non-perverted practical uses like finishing homework, beating up people, and moving to the airport without missing your flight. The only power worth anything in . more
Why would anyone want to stop time anyways? The molecules around you stop moving completely so unless you have the power to break absolute inertia of all molecules around you, you'll just suffocate because the molecules in your lungs can't go in or out, but hey, it's senseless to apply science to superheroes, right? I'm just going with this because it makes you practically immortal, and could be very useful for, say, bodybuilding because you don't have to weight (that was a pun, not poor grammar) a day in between for your muscles to recover--you could just go nonstop.
This is the only power listed here that is worth a damn for practical purposes. Time control is stupid once you consider inertial frames and whatnot. Flying you can do already in a hang glider or a jet pack, you're just too broke or too chicken to try it. Invisibility is great for thieves and perverts but otherwise useless and pretty dangerous in traffic. Super speed is useless without super strength and super invulnerability to friction and super navigational intelligence and super lack of empathy for all the bystanders you would kill as you ran by. Matter/gravity/magnetism control and omnipotence are. power corrupts. Teleportation is silly. Buy an airline ticket cheapskate. By medieval standards its practically the same thing. Super intelligence would get lonely after a while. Super strength would be great for construction work but not much else.
Shapeshifting is tempting because it gets you super healing and wings and whatnot, but it sucks because you have to control it. . more

Man, I need to get some stuff straight here. First off. Invincibility isn't walking through objects, that's phasing those are two different powers. Invincibility is being a solid that cannot be harmed or damaged in any way. You can drop UY Scuti on them and it does nothing. That's definitely powerful. This is easily the best power except there is one problem. Invincibility gives no offensive power. You have the strength of a normal man meaning if someone changes you up. You don't have the strength to break free as a normal man doesn't. That's the problem here. Unless you have some super good martial arts skills you won't be hurt in a fight but it's not like you're fairing any better. (Guns don't count cause that's measuring the power of a weapon, not a power). No, I don't think it's the best power that's a joke. It's a good power defensively but offensively you lack power and can still be trapped or captured not hurt but trapped or captured.
This is impossible because if you are invincible you can create a stone you can't lift but you can lift the stone because you are invincible
You are misinterpreting the word invincibility you could literally win at everything you are an existence that can never be surmounted. It is simply better than you give it credit for it is like omnipotence without responsibility as you can never be weaker than something. Invincibility all the way
You can never be hurt! And you can escape in any situation. If you are in a house on fire, you can just walk right through the fire or the wall! If you are caught and chained up, the solid object can go right through you, and you can just walk right through the villain! Best thing EVER!
You don’t need a flying ability. Shape shift into a bird, and poof!
You can become super fast. Shape shift into a cheetah, and poof!
You can become super scary. Shape shift into a monster, and poof!
You can become super funny. Shape shift into a clown, and poof!
Shapeshifting could let you do anything. Be the strongest, fastest, smartest. Be fully invulnerable, or heal on wound, and by logic, this would include invisibility because you would turn into an invisible being. You could bypass fingerprint, iris, and face sensors. (Break into someone's phone? Or you could turn into the owner of the phone, and know the password already.) You would essentially be invincible. Who could possibly stop you? Superman? Flash? You could have infinite strength, with a single tap pulverizing diamond. You could have infinite speed, running faster than the movement of light. Or you could turn into light itself. You could be oxygen, flying in through the slightest crack around a door. Nothing could stop you. Got a cut, just heal yourself. Turn into a mere grain of sand, and spy on anyone. Turn into a fire, destroying anything in your way. Grow a mini-cannon on your finger, and shoot a nuclear bomb on anything. Just to name a few.
Shapeshifting is everything.
You can make yourself invulnerable or simply give yourself super-healing, and you could be functionally immortal because, aside from healing and/or invulnerability, you could control your own aging process. You can shapeshift into something with the ability to have any other power, like flying or super-strength, and you don't even have to become a bird or anything. Just imagine "me but with the power of flight" and you can alter yourself to a form to be able to fly, even if it's externally indistinguishable in other ways. You could become a master of disguise. You could transform into any animal or give yourself any elemental powers, or the fun powers like stretching and changing size. And of course the social and vanity applications go without saying.
So really a shapeshifter can transform themselves to be able to do anything, including everything else on the list.
First organelle. Then you need three microchips in your scalp: one to read and transmit information from your thoughts of a new form to a certain omputer with software to render a safe genetic code, a chip for receiving the instructions from the computer and transmitting them to the cell modifications, which carry out the instructions, then one to constantly transmit a backup of your memories from the computer to you, due to changes in brain structure while you shapeshift. You need a teleportation device to send matter to and from your body for gaining and losing mass, and several megamolecules would reassemble your body structure. There is a lot more than destabilization of DNA, and what you have just read is just the beginning of an accurate description.
Why is this not at number one. This is the most common by far. Here let's make of list of people with super strength: Superman, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Drax, Deadpool, Ant Man, Vision, The Thing, Beast, Groot, Gamora, and more. How could this ever be in 14th place. It's the best thing ever!
You can do better then that. You can move mountains, rocks, boulders, make earthquakes or ravines, and if your crazy, move entire planets and moons ( only the solid part).
Can't take a step without creating a giant hole in the ground, never be able to grab any food or drinks, and incredible muscle pain, sounds great!
You can also lift cars, buildings, and do what ever you want with out someone stopping you.
This power is so op. You can do so much with this, by the way there should be more than 5 major elements like light, metal, and stuff like that. You're not quite a god but can do almost anything and explore space as darkness and build your garden with the earth. You can't get bored with this because you can always find new ways to use it? It's not like time control where all you do is speed up, slow down, stop, reverse, loop, age, and de-age. Or gravity where you can only switch poles, flatten, lift, repel, and attract. There are literally millions of ways to utilize this. You can beat every other power not reality-warping and omnipotence because them's god powers. You can do everything with it and always find something new about it all the comments talking about how great this power has just scratched the surface! Not only is this power super strong but cool and exciting too.
There are so many reasons why this is the best power. Now there should be more than 5 major elements I could add 5 more on the spot right now. Light, Darkness, Gravity, Nature, Metal. But this has is extremely powerful in combat and is parallelled in practical uses only by healing power and mind power. Need to study for a test. Review everything once with an elephant memory (they can remember journeys from 40 years in the past exactly the way they happened). Need to move furniture into your new house? Bam! Ant strength (Ants can lift things 50 times their weight so a 200-pound man can lift objects to 10000 pounds. Need some water, just spray it into your mouth. Need tools for a work project? Metal! New hammer, screwdriver, and wrench. Trying to fix your garden? Boom! Earth manipulation. Lighting a fire! Spray some into the fireplace with the wood from nature! Just realized you forgot your homework? Use elephant memory and lightning super speed to finish it out in a minute! In combat, . more
Want to kill someone? Poof! Use lightning. Want to put out a fire? Poof! Extinguished! Want to burn some paper? Poof! Done!
Want to grow a garden? Poof! Nice and easy.
Want to fly? Summon air and let it go, and poof! There you are, miles from the ground.
There are many advantages for this power.
You could've compound anything using these 4 elements and create something new. For example you could've combine water and air then, you would get ice. Or combining water and fire to make water vapor and use it as a fog to hide whenever you are in a fight. Also creating water vapor and using fire and air controlling ability to warm air to make clouds. Then Condense the clouds by warming more air and adding more clouds and wait till it becomes heavier then adding some water so you can get a rain, by getting a rain you can form a lightning and control it. Or just control any of these 5 elements as your major weapon without combining any of them. One more thing you can turn your whole body into any elements you like such as, smoke(vapor), magma, lightning, fire, water, air, Earth, Sand etc. There are way, way many more things to add I just listed some of them.
This power would be really good however a downside would be that, perhaps a bad thought became reality, like if thought of you're family dying and you killed them just by thinking of it
With this power, you can think about anything (or anyone) you want and it would become REAL! For example, you can even think about using a superpower and it would be real and you can really use it so is more amazing than anything, and even you think about it, all humans have made everything with their imagination, so why not use that to an extent.
Ever heard of the "id"? It doesn't mean "identification"' but rather, Freudian psychology believed that it's the dark corner of your mind where your most primitive urges reside. Most of these thoughts are unconscious, so you have absolutely no control over when you create the physical incarnation of lust, rage, fear, etc.
With this, you could literally do anything you want, invisibility, time control, quantum tunneling, even omnipotence or omniscience. This is clearly the be best and most OP superpower. But it is kind of exactly the same thing of omnipotence, so I can see why it's down here.
If you were to gain the ability to absorb other abilities it is obvious those abilities will have drastic side affects. It could cause a massive amount of strain in your body resulting in multiple side affect which will eventually leave you physically or even psychologically damaged beyond repair. (Not taking into consideration healing factor.) But even with the healing factor, it would only heal your physical body but not your mental state leaving you insane or with mental damages.
Hey I have a question, if someone that can absorb other powers met a time control person, what would happen? I mean can the time control person stop the time before that person absorb his power? Or can the time control person goes back in time before he met the power absorb person? Or can the power absorb person already start using time control power?
If you can absorb other powers that means you can absorb time control so if you think time control is the best this power means you have every power which is to over powered if this power isint in the top three I'll be really surprised because you if you had this power you could have the top three powers.
This is absolutely the best ability. Almost every one said time control but with this ability you could have time control and any other ability. You could match anyone even omnipotence because guess what. You just absorbed that power
Super Intelligence seems too crude a name, but I can only assume that the brain's capacity used is near or at 100%. In all honesty, we use 100% of our brain, but only 12% to 15% of all areas at once, aka brain capacity. Sadly, it is believed that dolphins use around 18% to 19% of their brain's capacity.
The realm of what a human can accomplish using more than 20% of their brain capacity is highly speculative and ultimately a mystery. But for the superpower wannabes like myself, let us assume that using 100% of our brains capacity would breach the realm of omnipotence, which by its own right would be awesome, but I believe in God so I'll leave that responsibility to him. So let's dial it back to say 75%. That means that everything that the brain controls is incredibly more powerful and since we have control over our brains, we can manipulate everything our brains can. Imagine our eyes seeing, our touch interacting, hearing everything on every wavelength with the energy of . more
Underrated superpower. I do realize that it may not sound as awesome as some of the other things on this list, but think about it: you could artificially have every other superpower on this list.
Let's take the ability to fly, for example. Wing-suits and jetpacks are currently being developed and revised, and if we have super intelligence on our side, then we can fine-tune these inventions to the point where we can casually fly around like it's part of our everyday lives.
Mind control. We are making devices and VR simulations that respond to our brain activity. With super intelligence to enhance that (and time, of course), the applications that these technologies have can be expanded massively. Plus, there's hypnosis.
The ability to heal. We can print skin cells with the help of a 3D printer, map the brain, build prosthetic robot limbs, and we are even developing a soft robotic heart. Heck, there's even Rex, a fully bionic man who can walk, talk, and breathe. Super . more
It doesn't matter how powerful you are - assuming you can win based on raw power alone is dangerous.
If you were highly intelligent, you could: analyse a situation and know what to do before anyone else even had time to come to their senses, find a weak spot in everyone and develop ways to exploit it, you could build your own weapons, or just design them and let others build it for you, you'd be able to manipulate pretty much anybody, you could dedicate your intelligence to something like medical research, not only saving countless lives but gaining a sparkling reputation, you'd be able to come up with good puns on the spot, you'd be able to do things nobody else could (even people with more 'stereotypical' powers have their limits, most of which are emotional/mental or they're simply not smart enough to come up with a solution), all sides of a war would want you on their side as a strategist/spy/scientist, which you could ultimately exploit the hell out of, no matter what you . more
One can argue that super intelligence is one of the most useful powers. Many, many superheroes and protagonists are as thick as a boulder - Thor, Superman, Emmet (Lego Movie), Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, anyone in your stereotypical horror movie, and everyone in Twilight. Imagine how far they could get with some actual intelligence, even more so if they actually had good plans.
Now I know that I said that every power is useful in its own way and this power is no exception. But the way this power is good isn't that good. Yes if you're bulletproof you should be immune to everything weaker than a bullet. But what about missiles, bombs, landmines, shells, rockets, nukes, cannons, artillery, buildings falling on you, lasers, lava, lightning, falling from great heights, drowning, or any superpower with attacks with more force than a bullet (A lot of them do) Examples, Nature power, telekinesis, gravity power, matter control, super speed, shapeshifting and a lot more. And yes no street robber or simple thug is going to overpower you but what about superpowers? This is comparing superpowers not you to normal people. Also, you can't have a weapon cause then you have the power of the power combined with the power of a weapon, and we're only measuring the power of the power no add ons. Meaning your attack are simply normal attacks so unless your a master at martial . more
But neither knife-proof, explosion-proof, radiation-proof, electricity-proof, punch-proof, or any other -proof.
This is basically a seriously limited version of invincibility.
"I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose. Fire away, fire away. You shoot me down, but I don't fall. I am titanium! You shoot me down, and I don't fall. I am titanium-m-m-m. Oh I am titanium! " #Titanium
What if you get crushed, stabbed, strangled, electrocuted, drowned, burned, decapitated, hung, stoned, blown up, or killed in any other way other than by bullet.
Absolute, complete power. Somebody attacks you? They've put the gun in their mouth and blown their face off completely willingly. Want someone to fall in love with you? They already have. Who needs invisibility when you can make people forget you instantly after seeing you. Want to be President? Control the entire country to support you. Or better, subconsciously manipulate minds across the planet to control stock prices and the entire free market. Make billions in seconds. Raise an army with a single thought - your power can make people believe in your cause to the extent that they'll die for you. Best part? Nobody knows it's happening unless you want them to. Mind control isn't possessing a single body at a time. It's subtly or completely controlling anyone's thoughts in anyone's heads at any distance. No power could beat it, because why would anyone want to harm you when they love you so much, or better, don't even know you exist?
Alright, gonna get really corny here. This is just to much power. The goverment tried this, so imagine if they got ahold of you. Scary, right? Not to mention, once you control ONE goverment person to do nothing to you, next thing you know, power has gone to your head and your trying to make everyone MINDLESS SLAVES. Imagine, if you had a family, a job, all that. But. than. That previously mentione job, is an important one. So a mind controler (Whose power went to their head, which can happen) controlled you! You could KILL that also previously mentioned family, WITHOUT KNOWING IT. Before you say I'm overreacting, I've read the comments for this one, and are honestly kind of destroying my faith in humanity
What I'm talking about isn't JUST telekinesis, it is also being able to create a shield from telekinetic energy, teleporting to places you've seen before, solving any problem almost instantly, being able to look through memories of other people ( or just picking around in their mind ), just anything that has something to do with your mind except more advanced and powerful.
Strange that this isn't voted up toward the top. I wouldn't want it though. Power corrupts. How would you not become a rapist eventually? How would you not become a tyrannical despot? How would you not become a target for murderous retribution. See Daredevil season 2.
How fast would you fly? That is the real question if you ask me. What if you could fly as fast as you could walk or run on the ground? I think that would kinda crappy but it wouldn't be without it's uses.
Flight lets you go anywhere anytime. Really important for a superhero. Plus imagine the potential in combat.
You can fly now. you're just too broke or too chicken to try a hang glider or a jet pack. Google "Yves Rossi". All you really need is super cojones.
I would love to fly but I'm afraid of heights and you could run into a plane or a bird.
Just imagine you see your mom through the window and you forgot your chores. Clone 10 of you and get those chores done in minutes and then delete them all before she can even take a step through the door!
Just have your clone go to school and when it returns, declone he/she and mere so you don't have a clone and the info they learned is planted in your mind and it was as if you were actually at school.
Man, cloning would be awesome, just hold a hundred dollar bill, clone and then you'd have $200
People always have to come up with some way these things won't work. It's a super power, not science
This is everything I've always wanted, imagine a embarrassing scene just happened and you wanna fix it, BAM done.
Will do bad things. Look at my comment on number one time control. It starts like this "This power sucks! "
You just change one little factor by accident and you may have just ruined the world.
If I could have one superpower, it would definitely be time travel!
Is immortality really a superpower? Also, I know it would seem amazing, living forever, but in reality it would be sad seeing everyone you know passing on and all these depressing changes in the world. Plus, most old people want to die. It’s the next great adventure
Immortality is not what most of you think it is. It is not deathlessness, meaning that you will never die. By its definition, mortality is life. The "i'm" you can look at as the word infinity or constant meaning simply that you will always have life.
This can be taken two ways: First, you reach an age past pubescence when you're body reaches its maximum potential and you simply stop aging. By this account, you can still be harmed or killed without living forever. Second, you experience what is commonly known as rebirth. During each death, whether by force or through natural occurrences, you would be reborn with all the knowledge and experience from before your demise. Consider it a type of reincarnation, only it is still your existence.
Personally, I would choose the latter.
Deathlessness, or never dying, has always been one small part of omnipotence. Some people argue that if a person (as in human) is incapable of dying, they would also suffer the inescapable . more
It would be awesome. I have always wanted to see how humans will evolve and everything they come up with. In time you would be rich, you could end up achieving
Super strength, speed, stamina, and/or intelligence. But it would most likely only be a good power if you could make others immortal and be able to shut down/turn off your immortality and then turn it back on.
Many dislike it because you'd see everyone around you die out, but really, who gives? You're immortal, the one fear mankind has is now gone, death will not happen to you and you could make tons of cash, make yourself a god, or simple live life with pretty much no worries, because you can do, whatever you like without that fear.
Being a reality warper is basically being omnipotent. When you warp reality you can do whatever you please. When warping reality you can have any power and literally anything and if you don't know of something you can do then trust me, with reality warping you can do it. I mean look at the Beyonder and the one above all, some people say they are omnipotent other say reality warper it really doesn't matter is the same thing. I don't even know how is this power still in the contenders list and not in the top ten list, hell, why isn't this power number 1?
Reality warping is really cool because anything you want can come true even if it is impossible or it is against the law of physics. You can just change reality by jut saying, emotion and you can have absolute power by just your thought. Its really Cool!
You can create anything you want! You can control everything! You have the power like God. Probably the only downside to this power is that you can't control their minds and ask them what to do.
How is this not first. You can literally remove your opponent from existance this is basically a more powerful version of being omnipotent
Telepathy is the power to communicate with others without speaking, just thinking. In some cases, those with telepathy also read the mind of the one they are "speaking" to. But, those with telepathy do not have mind control, which is a whole different ability. Just because it is all happening in the mind does not mean it is all the same. If you didn't study for a test, you can read your teacher's mind, but chances are she is just thinking about a dumb Youtube video she saw. You can communicate with her, but all that will do will allow you to not raise your hand. In conclusion, telepathy is a good power but really can't compare to the others since it is just a substitute for good, old fashioned conversations.
Telepathy, or mind control in my opinion is one of the best super powers. You can make people do what ever you want. The mind is a beautiful creation and to be able to control something of so much power already is amazing. You can make someone think that they're dying and the mind with believe it and if the mind believes it so does the body. You can read minds. You'll never be wrong and you can literally do what ever you want.
Life would be so much easier with telepathy.
Didn't study? Read the teacher's mind.
Late for work? Make your boss not care.
Want to get rich? Make Oprah buy you stuff. Or just make store personel give it to you.
Want to go on a vacation. Just make some random person give you a lift. Make the airline let you fly free. Repeat similar actions for stuff you do on your vacation.
Even if u have a bunch of beings with even greater super powers around you, trying to hurt you, you can just make them not use it, you can make everyone be on your side. And if everyone is one your side you will be invincible. It's great. Everyone in the world will literally be your willing slaves or does that sound too greedy?
If you're experiencing signs your body has inflammation, it can crop up in the form of various symptoms, and be a sign of a number of different health concerns. Usually, inflammation is associated with joint health, since arthritis is one of the top causes of pain and swelling. But inflammation can be associated with other health concerns, beyond swollen joints.
While you'll want to tell your doctor, if you happen to notice any of these symptoms, keep in mind that not all inflammation is bad. In fact, "we have two types of inflammation: acute and chronic," nutrition coach Amanda Sauceda, MS, RDN,CLT, tells Bustle. "Acute inflammation is important to our health because it helps us heal. Think about when you twist your ankle and it becomes hot, red, and swollen. That is part of [your] body's response to help heal the injury." And it'll go away, once your ankle is healed.
What you want to watch out for are signs of chronic inflammation. "This is the type of inflammation that does more harm than good," Sauceda says. "Think of chronic inflammation like a fire that needs to be put out in the body. Chronic inflammation has a domino effect where it can trigger a cascade of symptoms that can negatively impact your health."
Chronic inflammation be triggered by a variety of things, such as your genetic predisposition, what you eat, a lack of sleep, and other habits, Sauceda says. (You can get inflammation in your gut, for example, due to food allergies.) Whatever the case may be, here are a few signs you have too much inflammation, according to experts.
For the uninitiated, by "intangibility," we mean the ability to alter your atoms in such a way that you can walk through walls, or alternatively, let things like bullets pass through you harmlessly. This isn't a worthless power and can be invaluable when it comes to defending yourself in a fight. However, unless there is another power involved, all this does is keep a person(or persons) alive.
X-Men: The Last Stand tried to make the power look cool when Kitty beat Juggernaut by phasing through walls and making him look dumb before he knocked himself out. However, outside of getting into locked rooms, keeping bullets from killing you, or just running from the action, there are few ways that intangibility aids a person in battle. However, most intangibility in comics comes with the added benefit of shorting-out machines. There is also the threat of solidifying your arm in someone's head, but that would of course come at great cost to you.
We all were charmed beyond belief by Monica Rambeau when she appeared as a kid in Captain Marvel, played by Akira Akbar. But it’s the adult Monica, played by Teyonah Parris, who has really fleshed the character out and made us all truly fall in love with her on WandaVision. Many fans believed Marvel Studios would wait a long time to give Monica her comic book superpowers and make her a full on superhero. Well luckily, we did not have to wait very long.
Below you’ll find spoilers for WandaVision up through episode 7, “Breaking the Fourth Wall.” Please beware.

In episode seven of WandaVision, titled “Breaking the Fourth Wall,” Monica finally is fully powered up. But just what are Monica’s powers, at least in the comics? And do they match her MCU power set? Here’s everything we know about Monica’s super powers, which are pretty off the charts. But first, let’s begin with a brief history lesson on Monica’s comics origins. She may have gone by the heroic names Spectrum, Photon, and Pulsar, but she starts out as the very first female Captain Marvel.

Monica Rambeau first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #16 in 1982. At the time, Marvel Comics’ original Captain Marvel (a.k.a. Kree hero Mar-Vell) had just died. His friend Carol Danvers, who had honored him by taking on the name Ms. Marvel, was still around. But she had become a supporting character in Uncanny X-Men, and was seemingly leaving her hero days behind her. Thus, Marvel created the all-new character of Monica Rambeau to take on the name Captain Marvel. So yes, despite what happens in the MCU, in the comics it was Monica who was the first female Captain Marvel. Unlike the MCU, she didn’t have a prior connection to Mar-Vell or even Carol.

In the Marvel Comics universe, Monica is in the New Orleans harbor patrol, operating as a cargo ship captain. So the Captain in her original superhero name is not just an honorific. She’s the real deal. While attempting to prevent the creation of a dangerous weapon, Rambeau is exposed to extra-dimensional energy. After that incident, she’s able to convert her body to pure energy at will. The Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards theorizes that Monica is constantly pulling in energy from the dimension where she receives her powers. Soon, the media gives her the name “Captain Marvel.” The FF’s Ben Grimm explains to her that Mar-Vell would have approved.

Monica’s power set is pretty much God-tier. She can transform into any form of energy within the electromagnetic spectrum. While in her energy form, she can control gamma rays, ultraviolet radiation, electricity, infrared radiation, x-rays, microwaves, and radio waves. Whenever she is in any one particular energy-form, she can exhibit all of that energy’s properties. She can only transform into one form of energy at a time, but she can flip back and forth between forms fast. Whenever Monica comes across a new form of energy, she can also duplicate its properties.

Monica has the ability to absorb most forms of energy, and redirect them back at an opponent. Even without absorbing energy, she has the power to fire blasts based on different forms of energy she can channel. She also has the power to manipulate light to such a degree that she can become invisible, or alter that light around her to make her look like anyone she wants. While in pure energy form, she can even become intangible and walk through solid matter. In some instances, she can duplicate her energy form into multiple versions of herself. Monica also has the power to fly at superhuman speeds, even as fast as the speed of light. Essentially, she’s like Carol Danvers, the Invisible Woman, Multiple Man, and Kitty Pryde all rolled into one!

Monica’s powers do have limits though. During an Avengers battle that took place on the ocean, she altered her form into that of an enormous bolt of lightning trying to stop a sea beast. While in that form, she accidentally made contact with the water and conducted herself on the ocean’s surface. This causes her to disperse her atoms all over, only barely able to come back to her human form. When she did come back, it was weak and withered, looking very much like an old woman. And at the time, she seemingly lost her powers as well. She did eventually regain them years later, and when she does, she discovers that she is stronger than before. And effectively immortal.

Will the MCU’s Monica display such a wide range of superpowers? Only time will tell. Her powers are not derived in the exact same way as in the comics, although extradimensional energy seems to be the key in both versions. So there’s no reason to think her powers won’t be mostly the same. If her on screen powers match her comic book powers, she will easily be one of the strongest heroes ever in the MCU. Now, what superhero name will she use? That’s a more difficult question to answer! But as with all things Monica, we can’t wait to find out.
