Santa on Chimney Rock

Saturday, December 5 & 12, 2020
Watch Santa Claus ready himself for clambering down chimneys across the world as he practices on one of the biggest chimneys of all, Chimney Rock! Watch him scale the 315-foot monolith and enjoy other festivities. USA Today named Chimney Rock one of the top 10 places to catch up with Santa. Come and see why!

From 11 AM to 2 PM, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy live holiday music, complimentary hot cocoa, cookies and kids’ activities and see live critters. There is no additional cost with paid park admission.

Mr. Claus will rappel from the top of Chimney Rock several times while spectators gather in front of Cliff Dwellers Gifts (parking area) for live holiday music, refreshments and kids’ activities. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available in front of Cliff Dwellers Gifts for photos between practice rounds.

Meet some animals and attend an animal education program by a park naturalist.

Watch Santa from the parking lot, from the top of the Chimney or the walkway at top.

All of the trails and the top of the Chimney will be open, including the new Skyline Trail. Don't forget to browse the shops in the Village.

The Park's restaurant, the Old Rock Café, in Chimney Rock Village will host Breakfast with the Elves from 8 AM-11 AM.
