This picturesque campus tucked away behind the legendary Omni Grove Park Inn is an hidden jewel with much to see. This must stop for art and history lovers is just 2.5 miles from downtown Asheville. Biltmore Industries began here in 1917 and became the largest producer of handwoven wool in the world by 1930. Today, the 11-acre campus includes Grovewood Gallery, eight working artist studios, a sculpture garden, Golden Fleece restaurant, Biltmore Industries Homespun Museum and Asheville’s only antique car museum. Admission is free.

Grovewood Gallery: One of the region's premiere art and craft galleries features amazing works from 400+ artists and craftspeople from across the country - in all price ranges.
Don't miss the fabulous second-floor with their American-made studio furniture and lighting collection. The outdoor sculpture garden is a great spot for a picnic. Biltmore Industries Homespun Museum: Located in the heart of Grovewood Village, this humble, one-room museum presents a historical overview of Biltmore Industries. On display is an antique 4-harness loom and memorabilia such as letters, artifacts, and photographs depicting highlights from the active years of the industry. Admission is free. Open April-December, Monday-Saturday 10 AM-5:30 PM and Sunday 11 AM-5 PM.
Estes-Winn Antique Car Museum: See 19 classic beauties and some horse-drawn vehicles. Admission is free, but donations appreciated. Open April-December, Monday-Saturday 10 AM-5:30 PM and Sunday 11 AM-5 PM. Read more.
Garden: Stroll or picnic in the 11-acre Sculpture Garden with a rotating selection of outdoor art and whirly gigs.
Artist Studios: 10 resident artists have studios at Grovewood Village in part of the historic building that housed weaving and woodcarving operations. Visit them during Open Studio Tours on third Saturdays in May-October, 11 AM-4 PM. For other times of the year, inquire at Grovewood Gallery to make appointments with the artists.
Factory Tours: Take a free guided history tour to learn about the fascinating Biltmore Industries history, including a behind the scenes visit to the original production facility. Tours start at 1 PM on Wednesday-Saturday during April-November. Read more about Biltmore Industries Tours.
Golden Fleece Restaurant: Enjoy "slow-cooking" Greek flavors with wild game, local seafood and neighborhood vegetables for lunch and dinner in a very romantic "old world" setting with modern flair.
